Possibly, but I have never thought that a fair number of LinC members was representative of the general American population.

one can only hope that you are correct

Two distinct issues here.

Police shootings.

1. The guy wrestled to the ground and shot.

Don't know yet if he was resisting AND reaching for a gun, if so, then the shooting is most likely justified.

If not, then no need to shoot him, just handcuff him.

2. The guy stopped for a broken taillight and shot. Again, not sure if he was reaching for a gun or if the cop was trigger happy. Can't see the victim reaching for a gun if he has the gf and child in the car.

Snipers.

No ambiguity as in above, outright murder.

There was no ambiguity in the above either. The police officer was a murderer. news article

It got me riled up so I'm not surprised his mob got angry too. A problem is that the burden of proof is set so too high for police to be called to account for their actions.

I don't agree with the vigilantes since they were shooting innocent police. The problem is all police stand up for the bad ones instead of throwing them out of the force. They aren't smart enough to realise they'd get the respect they crave if they did.

It seems there may have been more than 1 shooter. Three other suspects were picked up, 1 a woman. Maybe more people involved.

To someone who doesn't have a bet in the race, the shooting of the two blacks looked suspect, based purely on the videos.

Hope you can build a bridge, rather than a wall.

RIP, all victims.

Going by the comments posted by a fair number of  Linc members about black people it only seems logical that a fair number of white police would have the same attitude as them .

If investigations show the two cops fired wrongfully, then of course put them in jail. Who's to say it won't happen to one of us...?

Just a little tidbit of info, from my own personal experience many radical blacks are also Muslims, so it is still possible that there could be a Muslim tie in to these shootings.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/26/muslim-american-demographics_n_5027866.html

Racially, thirty percent of Muslim Americans report their race as white, 23% asblack, 21% as Asian, 6% as Hispanic and 19% as other or mixed race. Socio-economically, Muslim Americans fare comparably to the general public, but do have a slightly higher percentage that reports the lowest income bracket.Mar 26, 2014

This is a news topic. It is not about two people shot in an attempted arrest by police nor is it about guns. So lets stay on topic.

Currently there have been 12 officers shot, three of them female officers, and 5 of them have died including one female. Three suspects are in custody, one of them is female, and they are not cooperating. One shooter is dead and it is unclear if he was shot by police or if he shot himself.

He was blown up using a police robot, robot planted the device and then it was detonated.....
