Will be great news if true.

Leader of the DAESH terrorist organization, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has been killed in US-led coalition airstrikes on Raqqa, the terror group reportedly claimed.

Arabic media wired the report of al-Baghdadi's death, citing pro-Daesh news agency al-Amaq.

The report said that Baghdadi had been killed on Sunday morning by the coalition air operation in Syria. The coalition operation command has not made a statement so far.

The so-called official news agency of the terror group said in a statement released on behalf of Daesh, that their “Caliph” al-Baghdadi had been killed.

“Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed by coalition airstrikes on Raqqa on the fifth day of Ramadan,” it said.

I hope they kill another 10,000 of them. You cannot just fight these animals. You have to destroy them.

Has this guy not been reported dead several times already? Seems to be a trend with these jihadist leaders.

Yeah, al Baghdadi has been reported to have been killed several times, but this is the first time that it has been reported by ISIS which makes this time different. Let's hope it is for real this time. .

Oh yes our very expensive military and intelligence community is hard at work,  killing off thousands of terrorists and more imp0ortantly their leaders. Blowing up Toyota pickups with 6 sheep hearders in it with weapons that cost 100's of thousands of dollars.

Kinda reminds me of the war on drugs where for the last 40 years they have been making massive drug busts and putting high ranking dealers in jail while smashing cartels left and right.

Something sure does not smell right.

USA Today News reports ...

The U.S.-led coalition fighting the Islamic State said Tuesday it could not confirm reports that Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had been killed in a U.S. airstrike.
Army Col. Chris Garver, the top spokesman for the coalition in Iraq, told USA TODAY he was aware of the reports from the Islamic news agency AlhlulBayt and other sources. Garver said that, if true, al-Baghdadi's death would be welcome news but would not signal the end of the fight.
AlhlulBayt reported that the militant leader had been killed in an air strike in the Raqqa, Syria.
There have been previous reports claiming al-Baghdadi was killed or wounded since he proclaimed himself the caliph, or supreme religious leader, of all Muslims two years ago.

I really hope this news holds true. It would be a welcoming blow on their group to have their leader eliminated, especially right after that dreadful incident in Orlando. This will somehow encourage hope that our civilized society is coming close to having them eradicated, even if it eventually breeds another group altogether. Still a significant step in the right direction.
