Best wishes to him and his family.

Nothing in life is certain but this is a fairly routine procedure so if they are reading this, the outlook should be quite positive. Speedy recovery HS.

I am confused. I have had an angiogram myself. It is used for diagnostic purposes. It is not a procedure that is done to cure anything or to fix anything.

He felt a stent (?) would be quickly added as a followup, IIRC.

I had Angiogram Stateside and 1 year ago in UK.

In the U.S they went in through the groin and in the UK they went in through the right wrist.

I had angiogram and stent in Canada recently also thru the wrist, took about an hour and a half maybe 2 hours.

I'm in U.S. and they went through the wrist ... they shaved both wrist and groin in case through the wrist had some difficult turns for the catheter.    I think it depends on the hospital, the doctor, etc.   But the wrist seems to be the choice where I went.

All my best to headshot and family.

God bless and you are in my prayers.

I have no doubt this will be a nothing for a tough as nails guy. Just enjoy the drugs...hospitals get the best.
