I just remembered this one, used for someone who wasn't ready for inspection i.e un-shined brass, Irish pennants etc,  Joe Shit the rag man.  Add Irish pennants too, Marines know what they are.

Milking a job, taking hours to do a 15 second task. Often happened in a comfortable area sheltered from excess heat or cold when repairing aircraft.

 

BUFF was  a B52.

Not an acronym but used this a lot when I wore Navy khakis as a Chief correcting a young sailor who may used Sir when talking to me.... "Sir,?! Sailor, don't call me sir, my parents were married!"
