"After Market" high rise windshields for motorbikes

i have seen a few of these very occasionlly in the Phils.

Here they have them in most accessory shops...lots of guys on the imitation Harleys have them...dont think 6k is outrageous..in the states I think they sell for more....instead of you shopping for them, get your wife/gf whatever to go around and find them...get the Fil price not the big white boy price..

Depending on how important aesthetics are to you you could probably get one custom fabbed for cheap.  That way you could get it as high or wide as you like.

These windshields play havoc with the aerodynamics, which are pretty bad anyway, on a motorbike.

 

Plus........well, they just never look good.

I have a "little" cruiser - Kawasaki Avnger 220, nive bike. I installed a windshield like that one shown. Man - do i regret....yes i do. Now i get a strong typhoon direct in my face, unless i curl own behind it. Maybe if i was shorter it would be ok - and i am not tall at all, just a "little guy". So be aware of the height of the windshield and the turbulence it creates. I use a safe "half helmet" - maybe with a full face i wouldn't notice

Used "universal" screens on "unconventional" bikes...

I had one very similar to this photo on a Honda VTX. You notice a little effect in wind resistance but really didn't interfere with the aerodynamics. Cuts your mileage down a couple MPG and keeps you real dry when its raining.

 

Even better though, I upgraded to a Memphis shades faring. More aerodynamic and looks really cool. Worth every penny.

i did not find windshield in cebu yet,,but i got my "colonel clink" helmets today from thailand!
