I'm not a big fan of cole slaw

Its eight. I dont know why they added 1/8. It all breaks down a lot as its marinates.

I still make this one. buttermillk substituted with evaporated milk.

 

You can make your own buttermilk here by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to one cup of milk.

I think you missed something. How can 8 1/8 cups equal one cup?

 

1/8 as a fraction is one eighth of one, is it not?  Ergo 8 x 1/8 equals 1.

OK, you explain it.  Is it 8 X 1/8 cups which would be 1 cup?  Is it 81/8 cups which would be 10 cups plus 1/8 cup?    Ok, maybe I've got it.  How about 1 cabbage cut into 1/8ths so it fits in the food processor?  That would give you 8 1/8ths.  But then why say cups?

Hahaha if it was 8 x 1/8 of course 1 cup but it was 8 1/8 which is eight cups and one eighth of a cup

Isn't 8 1/8 cups cabbage = 1 cup of cabbage?

 

Or did I miss something?
