Between the dates of November 3 – November 20, the U.S. Consular Agency in Cebu will offer only reduced services.  The Agency will not accept passport applications or provide notarial services.  Anyone who needs passport or notarial services between the dates listed above will need to schedule an appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Manila.  Passport and notarial services will resume on Monday November 23, 2015.  The Consular Agency will still be open to provide information.

Please note that the acceptance of Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA) applications at the U.S. Consular Agency in Cebu is still temporarily suspended until further notice.  Please click on the following message for more information.  Embassy email just now

Just curious, is RATO routinely used by the C-130's or just for the show with the Blues? ;)

JATO, jet assisted takeoff was used for all Marine KC130's until the J models came in, the Blues used them for airshow's and the TO was not a standard TO as normally used with JATO, we stayed on the deck until about 120 was reached then rotated to about 45 degrees, depending on temp etc. you usually got a 13 sec burn...usually getting to about 1500 feet...depending....the FE pushed the button on AC command and the NAV called the time...just a note, the J models will do the same thing without JATO....

Where is it located, and is there any email address? Didn't find anything at USEmb site.

I am building a list of 'to do's' for my wife for when i kick the bucket. I need to communicate with a 'Consular Officer' to find out exactly how much assistance will be given to a recent widow of a US citizen beyond what is stated at the USEmb website, if anything. Communication for her, beyond whole life policies, will be CSRS with OPM, FEGLI, and SSA.

We are in S. Leyte, so Cebu is obviously preferred over going to Manila,

Globe Tatoo is terrible right now. If anybody knows more, please PM me.

The US Consular Office is located on the lower level (one level below the lobby) of the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu City. The Office opens to the outside, so you don't actually go inside the hotel.
