About 45 minutes in a 190 degree oven.

 

 

Why U did not do it here?

That was three of six pies. The one we ate tasted quite good. 

 

I have a whole one here. I am waiting for a young lady to arrive, so we can have a piece, each, together.

That's like some of those processed frozen food deals.  "Ready to eat in just 3 minutes."  Then the cooking directions on the back.....1. Preheat oven to 5,000 degrees.....

Southerner's are not like you Yankees. We think of our wives better than that.

 

And, we would also come up with better excuses for eating their fries. :D

We made the pie crusts and the filler. No pre-made anything, here.

Coming out of the oven, they did smell, and taste a bit like pumpkin pies. Not far off, for sure.
