The victim would need a gun, and that could lead to questioning which would tear their fake story apart.

Questioning of the police, by the police about the police, sure that is going to happen.

Ruben Fernandez, a former inmate, was released from the Lapu-Lapu city jail for theft and robbery last September 2014.  He had been jailed twice before.

Jenalynn Soon brings her criminal partner inside the victims house, to get a good look at the surroundings and all the 'gadgets'.

he was carrying a bag containing a DSLR camera, some accessories, a power bank and a portable PlayStation. She also noticed an iPad hidden in the waistband of his pants, against his back.

After her partner steals all of those 'gadgets' he brings them back Jenalynn Soon.

That's called conspiracy to commit murder.

Meaning, Jenalynn Soon obviously recognized the stolen 'gadgets' because she visited the house all the time, her partner obviously didn't "drop her off to get gas"  and  after knowing, if not planning, the victims murder, the two killers got high together.

Lock the murderer up, or put her next to her partner in crime.
