From time-to-time, we get questions about meeting and getting acquainted with Filipinas for long-term relationships. As should be obvious, this topic is ONLY for those who have (or have had) a Filipina wife. For our purposes, we will consider a serious long-term (years) GF as a wife even though there is no marriage certificate. This is a private poll, so nobody will see how you voted. This poll isn't designed to tell anybody the BEST way to meet a Filipina for a long-term relationship, but it might at least show how others have done things.

I picked 'other' also because our first contact was when I incorrectly dialled a supplier and ended up connected to my now sweety pie!

That was over 15 years ago and just seems like yesterday, and we all know what a bastard of a day yesterday was!!! (Nar, just kidding!)

Best mistake I ever made

So you were a rescued sex worker?

Figured that out all on your own, didn't ya?   :D

Half of that story is just a joke that I tell the locals, as they all desperately want to believe I didn't get a good one.  Actually met wife online, and happily married for 4 years now.  Hoping to have the longevity that you have had.

classic story of love at first sight

But, how does she feel about that fateful day? I guess she figures she was on the USS Minnow, eh?

My wife's Lola introduced us.  I bought my fish from her in the public market and she liked me, so the Lola and my wife's auntie asked me if I would be interested in meeting a single Filipina.

Didn't realize so many have gone native here....I will make a point to insert "joke lang" next time so you and James will know when it's time to laugh.  But you probably don't understand self-deprecation either....lol.

Um, how about options for guys who met their wives / sweethearts on Cam chat sites, in bikini bars, or maybe picked them up on Juana Osmeña, near Vacation Hotel, or maybe at the basketball court? You know, just using those as examples here.
