I've been taking clomiphene in varying dosages since the first thread on the topic here. Currently I'm at 12.5 mg M/W/F. Testosterone levels went from the low end to midrange which I'm happy with. There were some headaches at higher dosages, but at the current levels they're gone.

Anyway, I have noticed that my blood pressure is much lower than it used to be and I have no explanation (such as exercise, weight loss, etc) to account for it. The drop is significant, to the point that I've dropped 2 of the 3 meds I was taking. The symptom that clued me in to this is dizzyness after standing up. One theory I have is that the clomiphene and the extra testosterone may somehow have affected my blood pressure.

Anybody else see this?

Young guys like to  say that their pecker is lethargic.   Older guys are more willing to admit that they are having problems getting it up .

I think you mean 300 mg.  Do you realize how much 300 ml is?  Almost the contents of a soft drink can.  That would take one hell of a syringe and hurt like hell!

Had blood test done at Silliman University hospital (1,500 pesos) today.  Been on 25 mg clomid three times/week for about 90 days.  Test level from today's test is 841. That's a pretty significant in

Clomiphene Citrate does not work like viagra...  it doesn't give you a hard on ... it can help to increase your testosterone levels over time, which in turn may benefit you in various ways, sexually being just one of the possibles... it isn't a magic cure all for sexual problems at all and if thats your thinking then best to not bother.... I think it needs to be take for some months not just days to have a positive effect on testosterone levels. I don't think the discussions here promote the use of this as opposed to viagra...

I have been taking Clomid 25mg M W F since October 22, I have noticed small gains income areas including the proverbial wood most mornings.... before Clomit...didnt happen. I cant take viagra because of my cardiac issues but at times half a Cialis sure helps some. I have a  youngish girlfriend now and we manage just fine without feeling the need to shag like bunnies all the time...

For me, Clomid has had a positive effect, cant comment as to how others find it aside from reading the comments here, but like anything, don't expect miracles to happen. Also look at exercise and the food you eat. General health and wellness as well as attitude and state of mind also plays a part.

Clomiphene is not a replacement for viagra. Clomiphene (at least as discussed here) is used to eleveate your testosterone in a safer and cheaper method than the current high priced injection/gel/etc method being pushed by big pharma. Viagra is for erectile dysfunction, where you are unable to attain or sustain an erection.

Clomiphene may help your ED problem, and at the very least would reduce the amount of viagra you would need to take.Nut it's not a replacement, and I don't think anyone here has said it is.

my blood pressure is much lower

I only started this Clomid (25 mg x 4 times a week) 4 weeks ago and my blood pressure is so far unaffected.  My gf is quite fond of the morning wood that is now a daily occurrence and she says frequency of sex and volume of ejaculate is higher and she says that this makes her happy.  I shall surely continue with this product, despite the cost of 80 pesos per 100 mg tablet.

EDIT: Before the Clomid use I could not get an erection without use of V or Cialis etc. In the last 4 weeks I have used Cialis one time.  Clomid may not be a replacement for V but, at least in my case, it is a drastic improvement.

I'm still at a loss here, regarding something. If you look up this medication online, nowhere (that I have found anyway) does it say it is even for the purpose discussed here. Can anyone show me a link where it is discussed that Clomid is for men?

It's called off label use.  Not enough research has been submitted to the FDA to support this use.  It may be research trials are underway, it may be the med is too far along in it's life cycle to merit spending more research dollars on.  In any case, this is why Doc's are allowed to prescribe meds for uses not included on their labels.  It's really not that uncommon.

My VA Urologist has me on 25mg daily.  I do get a headache a couple of times a week, but not a bad one and never take meds for them.  They will be checking my Testosterone levels next month, so we'll see.  I notice higher energy levels, better ejaculate, and better erections with this med alone.  If I pop a Tadalafill 20mg once in a while, I get even better results.

You bunch of pill poppin' druggies. :D

Only under the direction of a qualified doctor, or advice from other LINC members, so it's ok Paul.  Check you're rule book, it's there somewhere.

Second month of taking Clomid and the 'drastic improvement' is no longer there.  I have to accept the possibility that the first month of taking it was giving me a placebo effect from reading all the great comments in this thread.  Due to the cost, at 80 pesos per 50 mg pill, I cannot see a reason to try a third month.

Where to buy is the question... I found that in several pharmacies in Colon and most of the pharmacies in Talisay... out of stock ... I do have a script for it ...

I checked at the local pharmacy here. She had 3 boxes in stock, five (5) - 50mg pills in each box left, at something like $5.00 / box.

P47 each. I think I would need to read up a bit more on this, before I decided to take it.

Everyone should know that this is NOT a cure-all/do-all remedy. I was on clomiphene citrate for three months, and my testosterone count went DOWN 61 points. I stopped it immediately. If there are over-riding causes for low testosterone (such as brain trauma), then clomiphene citrate will NOT fix the problem and raise the testosterone count.

Before I got them from the VA I purchased them at several different pharmacies, including Mercury and Rose. As you've experienced, finding them in stock was the biggest problem (I was paying around 50p a pill). Long term, I think the best way is to order them online. Many of the online pharmacies carry them at a reasonable price and I've had very good luck ordering melds on line and having them shipped to the PH.
