I was an E7 Electronic Warfare tech. Operated and maintained active and passive EW equipment.Great job!

My first ship. It was commissioned in 1945. This picture was taken before it left for Vietnam. We decommissioned it in 1972.

I think I remember the Sebego... maybe not, but I was surprised to hear that there were US Coast Guard ships in Westpac... I was young and ignorant I guess. We used to call the Coast Guard sailors "shallow water sailors"...not true of course, but fun none the less.

You bubbleheads had no imagination...the new subs will accomodate.

 

Hell, the russian Typhoon ( or maybe the Akula) sub had a swimming pool!

 

BTW...you are correct, they are called boats..........
