My neighbor the policeman tried to assist him to reach the girl thru the cell phone number the girl gave him to no avail . He was also telling me it happens everyday, and there are girls waiting at the airport to comfort those poor guys at there time of need more then willing to let them cry on there shoulders , and willing to except the gifts they brought for the bad no show scam girl ...

Popular Post A_Simple_Man 6,198
Does anyone have any sympathy for the guys? Not me. I figure a fool and his money are soon parted and better a pretty girl gets it than the ugly old bastard that ripped off some of us with his Legacy scam a few years back. There are a lot of us fools in Philippines. Either get over it and get on with it or get home and lick your wounds.
Enuff 29,738
Anyone who spends a penny before coming deserves it. Why in the world would you support someone you have never met? I wonder how they can be upset when t jg en arrive only to find they been tricked. If someone never gets that feeling sending thousands of dollars to someone they have never met then I have zero sympathy. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Mikala 14,383
I have sympathy for the guys that get conned, but my guiding principle in life is to treat others as I’d have them treat me. Taking advantage of others is never something I’d condone and I think it’s deplorable. Essentially these girls are breaking the laws of the Philippines and every country, plus stealing is a mortal sin. I’d ask why the law enforcement folks in the Philippines don’t offer to prosecute these criminals, but already know the answer to that. By rights these girls would go to prison the same as any common criminal that steals from another. They also need to be blacklisted from ever leaving the country, once it’s been proven that they’re known criminals.
Skywalker 19,177
Amazing how much a pretty girl who flashes her tits, on the internet, to an old fool can get! Good luck to them, that's what I say.
Popular Post Mikala 14,383
Not sure where you a from I doubt where I'm from (USA - Michigan) makes a difference when considering basic facts. Stealing is a crime in every country. Stealing is a Mortal Sin in the Catholic religion. Philippines is mostly full of Catholics that supposedly believe in what the Bible teaches (or not) I've asked girls that steal from foreigners why they do it and how they can face themselves in the mirror. They tell me that they go to the priest for absolution and somehow believe that their sins can be forgiven. Seems a common principle in the Philippines. They excuse themselves by saying they had no job, therefore the only way they can make money is by stealing. I'm just praying that LinC members haven't become so "localized" that they jeer at guys that get taken advantage of by some cute girl. Would members of this forum be proud to say that they bought their home based on money they stole from someone else and that "it's okay because he/she was stupid"? I was raised with a work ethic that told me that I needed to work to earn my money honestly. When I didn't have a job once, I tutored and cleaned houses for money (I'm a professional engineer). Try offering one of these cute, lovely plastic girls a job as a yaya or housekeeper. They'd scoff at you (I know, as I've done it). It brings to mind the saying "if you do the crime, then be prepared to do the time". I'd love to see these girls "do the time" for their crimes. But it seems the government turns a blind eye to this sort of crime since the only person that gets hurt by it is a foreigner. Maybe if they prosecuted a few thousand girls, it would stop this crime from happening.
miles-high 3,917
Stealing is a Mortal Sin in the Catholic religion. So is prematiral sex hehe http://marysaggies.blogspot.com/2010/10/is-pre-marital-sex-always-sin.html
Mikala 14,383
So is prematiral sex I'm going straight to HELL then! Sorry for my rant, but I was also the Catholic Minister for my submarine in the US Navy (same time as being a reactor operator, technician, janitor, painter, galley maid, etc..). I strongly believe laws are made for a reason and that nobody should be immune to them, no matter how rich or poor.

That is the funniest sentence I've read for many a day. You do realise that being rich in the Philippines does actually make you immune to most Laws?
Davaoeno 37,477
stealing is a mortal sin. I had to look this one up !! Mortal sin definition, a willfully committed, serious transgression against the law of God, depriving the soul of divine grace damn, that sounds pretty serious. Scam someone and your soul goes to Hell !! Maybe stores should change their signs from " Shoplifters will be prosecuted" to " Shoplifters will have their souls deprived of divine grace" That should reduce the shoplifting rates a lot . He's lucky, my wife showed up and was waiting for me when I first arrived. I had sent her a thousand dollars to partially furnish an apartment and fully expected that she wouldn't show up, but she did and no look at me. I'm fat, tired and spoiled all because I trusted her not to show.
