Buying a TV in Cebu online and getting delivered to the province

Recommended Posts

Rossco

Hey everyone,

I will be back in a few months but before I arrive I wanted to buy a TV online somewhere in Cebu and get it delivered to the province... soonish.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks Heaps

Ross

We use Lazada and have never had any problems. As with anything, make damn sure all the information they request is 100% accurate and you should have no problems.

I have used these people 3 times. That was for a Sala Set, Queensize bed and matress and a TV. All delivered to Leyte at minimal cost.

Delivery aside, I would say you will get the best deal in the shop, face to face.  If you don't want/need the freebies they offer, you can quickly get it down to a price that makes more sense, provided that you are paying cash.

I just bought a 55 inch TV here in Cebu.

Something to think about.

Actually Lazada has some very good prices here in Thailand and expect the same is true in Philippines as they have the customers for importers to make deals when overstocked.  But if you have a specific item in mind expect you may indeed do better locally at times.  What I do find is many of the listed items are out of stock much of the time however - but they often do have the most variety of any source.

You forgot the travelling cost.

For me that would be P1800 for a same day round trip one person. And it wouldn't be just one person. It would be 2. Alternatively. P1100 round trip for one plus overnight accommodation.

I am also looking for a good LCD and lazada sounds interesting but I suppose their fifty percent discount is like everywhere.. Or it is an old model or the previous price have been feed with energy bars :)

As SM, Alaya are not really reaching these prices, I might give a try after inquiring on a specific model...

Cebu Appliance Center, Alex Go. I have ordered many things and they deliver. All done online and using PayPal...never a problem

And now do I have to make the usual internet disclaimer that I am not associated with Cebu Appliance Center and I do not get any kick-back from mentioning their name?

It's a personal thing. I met Alex from our last visit and have ordered  many items over the last 10 yrs.
