Using correct grammar and correct spelling on Linc

Good grammar and punctuation can be critical to meaning.  As an example:

A woman without her man is nothing.

We all know the correct punctuation:

A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Or: A man without a woman has to wash his own underwear with skid marks! No punctuation needed!  :idontknow:

almost no one cares what a bunch of miserable freezing soggy tight-asses on an increasingly insignificant island have to say about it.

Oh I do so agree; I've worked with New Yorkers as well.

Well I am only going to spellcheck so much and being a naturally gifted inept speller and really post from a busy schedule, so there is a high probability of grammar and punctuation mistakes contained in my rantings so some folks will just have to learn to deal with disappointments.

Yep, damn them grammar doorknobs..

I understand your grammar and spelling just fine and I'm from Northern & Southern California!

It sounds like Hawaiian Pigeon English in a way!

No offense to those Hawaiians on here, just a little pun with my Buddy Tom from Big Texas!

Understanding Southerners (and Texans) is a lot easier than understanding pidgin English in the islands. When I go home to my ranch, there are times I can't understand a gosh-darned thing people (locals) are saying. It all comes back though after a few days...

Sure wish I could say the same in Cebu. I really need to spend some time learning the Cebuano and Tagalog before long.

Texans do not talk slow.... People do not fall asleep while we are talking... Others do not finish their meal and leave the table while we are still ordering... The term "Texas Drawl" was made up by fast-talking Yankees who are mad that the South won the Civil War... That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
