2-seater ATV or UTV... whatever

Hey all,

 

Am wondering about purchasing a 2-  or  4-seater ATV (really it's UTV).  Like a Kawasaki  Mule.   Anyone have any experience with such vehicles in the Phils?   I'm out in the province and it would be used for the nearly daily run into town on a dirt/gravel road.  Very little concrete road use.

 

Know of any dealers in Cebu? Maasin? Ormoc?

 

Have any real knowledge of maintenance issues, etc.?

It used to be you could license an ATV-250cc or higher. I think they stopped that but for your provincial use I don't think you care about that. These guys have 2 seater buggy (Razor 150) that looks fun and you could probably take 3 in it but the price is at or above that of a multicab. It would probably be pretty simple to have a local add a removable bench across the back for 2 or 3 more pax. They also have a smallish ATV.

Yeah, I sorta wondered about the cost, convenience issues of the multicab. Gotta be automatic, though, for the wife. I know ican research the forum, but cutting to the chase, where in cebu is a good place to shop for one - quality and price wisr?

I would probably like to nominate this car as “The Funniest (or Stupid as some might call it) Car of The Year” but if you like to buy a multi purpose vehicle, e.g., an ATV and a Lawn Mower, this car is for you…  Made by Honda, no less...

I had a Polaris RZR before moving over here. Nice sport UTV but not as practical as some others like the Can Am Commander or Yamaha Rhino .. or Kawasaki Terex. But taking price and parts availabity into consideration I'd go with a multi cab.
