ARE THEY ON DRUGS?

If they do it like schools in the USA, the students still attend class the same amount of hours. If they were attending 8 hours a day for 5 days, then they would now attend 10 hours a day for 4 days.

 

If they currently attend each class say for 40 minutes. Now the classes would be 60 minutes.

 

It shouldn't effect the learning.

Just like the hot dogs they claim are exactly like American hot dogs.

They look good, but have no flavor or substance.

In other words, they want to look like they are emulating the U.S. without actually doing the work it takes to actually be like the U.S.

What difference does it make. No one is learning anything of substance in these schools with 70+ students to a class. The entire system is in need of a makeover so learning can occur.

Actually that is so true....however...I think that the article that started this thread is indicative of the general attitude that the government has towards education in this country.  Anything that is done is for show, not to improve.  

Governmental attitude is summarized by..."keep 'em dumb and poor...they're easier to control".
