Listing on eBay for some small panels

Recommended Posts

I was thinking of those still without power in various parts of the Philippines. If you have loved ones, or just want to send some panels over that can be used to charge cell phone batteries, combine them for bigger projects, or to be used as project panels to teach others about solar, this is for you.

Take a look here. These are 6vdc, 330ma panels.

They offer free shipping no matter how many you buy.

Buy one of them, you get free shipping, and the total cost is: $7.79

Buy nine of them, you still get free shipping, and the total cost is: $70.11

Buy ten of them, you still get free shipping, and the total cost is: $67.90

If you spend $75.00 USD with this seller, they will give you $10.00 off the total order. So, if you buy ten, it reduces each panel to $6.79 each, shipped.

Granted, this is a bit costly, if you compare watts to watts with large panels. But, as you get smaller on panel size, the price definitely goes up.

I will have to wait until February. But, I think I'm gonna buy some and send them over to Tacloban, or any other area that may need some assistance.

I have no idea. I would probably check the prices to buy locally, first, prior to considering doing that. But, if you were going to consider importing them (I would not ship them from other countries, after purchasing them there), I would look at Yingli Solar.

6 vdc and 333 ma, means you need three in parallel just to charg an iPhone. 6 in parallel to charge an iPad.
