1000 dollars a month for just having an American kid

Recommended Posts

mikejwoodnz

there is no way any kid in Britain would be able to get that huge amount of money while being born overseas and having no  connection, at all, with Britain except that one of their parents happened to be a citizen of te country (and who might themselves, citizen or not, only have a tenous connection with it).

700 dollars or a thousand dollars a month, is a huge amount of money here. It automatically propels somebody into the top flight, of earners. There must be an incredible amount of fraud, and/or attempted fraud going on.

I'll bet you guys all regret having that vasectomy now  :ROFLMAO:

sounds like an industry to me. It must inject many millions of dollars a year into the Philippine erconomy.

apparently the US government employs Filipino private investigators to get on planes in Manila and touch down wherever the claimants are in numbers and check out claimants, interviewing them and their neighbours to suss out that whether or not they are scamming.

Interesting, but the number qualifying would be far lower than discussed since the consular form would require the citizen parent to prove the citizen responsibility or for the citizen to acknowledge the relationship.

Therefore all those children of GFs or bar girls are likely out of luck.

They would most likely be required to undergo DNA testing for CRBA, but would be very much entitled to citizenship and SS under current regulations.

Retired (65 plus and not working unless at max allowable age), totally disabled (not a 10% like in VA), or dead.

Probably a very low percentage of men over 65 have young children in the USA.

If the guy were working or when they were working they didn't get extra for having children or pay any extra social security because they had children. In fact they paid less taxes because they had children.

I understand the whole providing for the children after the guy is dead, but if no children, the wife doesn't get shit unless she is over 60 and a US citizen, or has lived in the USA for 5 years as a resident alien.

I was talking to a US expat the other night who has had a kid here by a local woman.

much to his own surprise as well as mine, he found out that he is entitled to a Communist-type handout from the government of the United States, for having a kid here.

WTF is this?

I thought WE in Europe were supposed to be the socialist ones?

turns out that Communism didnt' die with the Soviet Union. It just re-invented itself in the USA.

in Britain there is no friggin' way anybody would be entitled to that amount of money for just having a kid here. The most they could possibly hope for, and they might not even get that, is a bit of Child Benefit that would entitle them to about $120 a month.

is the US taxpayer aware that some overweight, balding, alcoholic sixty something bum can go into some bar on Fields and get some Samar bargirl up the duff and then get them, the US taxpayer, to fork out a thousand dollars a month for eighteen years?

thats one of the reasons they are broke lol

There is a government office that monitors American pensions coming into the Philippines. I have met the guy who used to run it. They seriously know what they have coming in from who. And when they die.

He gets a Social Security Benefit for a child.  Example is you can get up to 80% of your retirement additional just for a child or called family benefit. Its

It's 50%

Edit: I guess I should say its 50% for disability maybe it is different for retirement? I know veterans get different benefits.

Are they as clueless as those inside who rarely find out if the recipient is dead? Unless the estate is honest and notifies SS the pension doesn't stop.

They do quite the opposite. They want to keep the money rolling in.

's okay. I got it all worked out.

Turn 65, convert to Moro, legally marry 4 sixteen year-old girls and have 'em pop out one brat a year each. Will have twenty qualifying offspring by the time I'm seventy and pulling in 20 G's monthly.

or go the disability route if mental counts:

Will start doing the New York Times crossword puzzle with a wooden chopstick and my own poop. That's GOTTA qualify!!

Not gonna fake my own death: that's just plain silly.

I have no idea how efficiently SS is monitored in the Philippines... but in the US Big Brother keeps a pretty close eye on SS benefits.

Among other things, funeral homes, banks, credit card companies, etc., report deaths to the government... It's in the interest of both government and businesses. Government (their computers at least) usually knows someone is dead sooner than some of their family.

Of course, it is a separate felony each month you cash a deceased persons SS check... The years on those multiple count felonies add up fast.

I somehow suspect SS keeps tabs on the heartbeats of its overseas recipients.
