Hy H 1,987
Nice one mate. Looks like its street legal with rear foot pegs on it too. What year is it?
Paul 55,114
A bit of advice:- Don't take it for very long rides. It will kill your arse. If you do a search, you will find a trip that I have taken, more than once, from Nasipit to Davao City. 333 Kilometers, I think it was. Trust me, that is a very, very long day - on a dirt bike. Looks great, though. Enjoy!
smidsy 265
How much, and is it available in Phils, or an import ?
Ronin 1,552
It's a 2013 and it's available at Honda dealers for about 192k. Here's what it looks like in stock form (I modified it to be black & white).
thebob 18,260
Looks really sharp. How does it ride?
Ronin 1,552
Looks really sharp. How does it ride? Really nice! Handles really good and everything is very smooth. The seats on the CRFs are known to be very stiff. I ordered the black seat from the US and put it on before I even took it out of the showroom. I also put the white plastics on in the showroom and the girls there were all staring at it and commenting on how much better it looks than the red color scheme. They sell a white version in Thailand (that's where I ordered the white plastics from). My fiance reports that passenger side of the seat is very plush (it's wider and cushier than stock). I also have an XT225 which was very comfortable but the CRF is even more so (I think because of the seat). The only issue for her is the passenger pegs are a bit high. I'm going to look into fabricating something that will lower them a few inches.
Irenicus 8,328
It's a 2013 and it's available at Honda dealers for about 192k. Sweet bike, brother! Someone has been selling new CFR 250 China bike clones on Sulit for months for 88K. Units are in Davao, Manila, and Gensan. I might txt him for more info. Paul is right, the CFRs are super stiff and heavy. I am torn between a CR 200 and a cheap Motostar 200.
Ronin 1,552
Paul is right, the CFRs are super stiff and heavy. Paul was talking about the xr200. The xr200 was my first choice when I moved here. After renting one for a day, the ride was so uncomfortable I scrapped that idea. Can't deny the CRF250L is heavy for it's displacement but it is well balanced and I haven't noticed it (coming from a much lighter XT225).
Irenicus 8,328
Paul was talking about the xr200. I stand corrected. Irregardless Ronin, that's a sweeeeeeet bike and congratulations!
OzGuy43 182
Nice mate, loved the road/trail bikes in my younger days.
Hy H 1,987
Nice mate, loved the road/trail bikes in my younger days. Nothing wrong with them when you are little bit older either. Gooder than street bikes for Cebu`s roads. Like Paul mentioned , pain in the “fat” arse for longer rides thou.

David Kennedy 104
(They sell a white version in Thailand (that's where I ordered the white plastics from). Ronin, how'd you go about ordering parts from Thailand? I'd be interested in some Honda or Kawasaki parts contacts over there .
