Go away mate, what a stupid remark. You go tell that to people in Tacloban.

Just now getting power and internet restored.   Hope y'all got through it as unscathed as we did.   Playing catch-up since it's been a 36-hour information blackout.   We got through it okay. 4:3

It`ll swing up and go to Manilla.

My initial thought as well.

Though the sizable one about a year ago suddenly turned south and went through Mindanao.

There's actually another one, tropical depression thirty, which should pass by me tomorrow (Monday) morning. Not nearly so strong though.

Right now the track of 31 covers the entirety of the RP.  No need to worry until it gets at least to Palau.  Last year's was predicted to hit me square on when it was mulching Palau but still went south to Siquijor.

The track will undoubetedly change but the name won't:  now Typhoon Haiyan.

Taking a few precautions already: calling in some family members who work buying marine products for us on a small island east of Dinagat. Told them they need to be off that rock before Wednesday afternoon if the track doesn't change.

BH. Surf should be up nicely on cloud 9 by tomorrow lunch time .
