Interesting - BUT - "There are five little native houses on our land that have been there since we bought the land years ago".  Lesson#1 - Never buy land with squatters on it!  Tell the owner that they must GO before you will purchase it.

The government have such problems taking back land from long stay squatters they give them the land. The longer they stay, the more rights they have. Best hope they don't go to the public attorney for free advice.
