Great story though those B 25 crew are real heroes especially the bombardiers who had to face enemy cannon fire and AA blast protected only by paneled glass. He's still alive, and lives on an island. No joke! Bainbridge Island, Washington - in the Puget Sound. He'll be 89 in November. An underrated actor who never quite hit the big time, but is well-remembered by lots of baby boomers for his role in "Gilligan's Island".
