I agree.  The first article linked is very much a "talk-up" the Philippines piece painting a very rosy picture.  The second one does at least spotlight the employment problem.

There are two rates buy and sell the top rate is what you would get if ur changing pesos to pounds the lower rate is the reverse and what most of us get to buy pesos.  Be about 70 peso for a pound if you can find anywhere that will do that.

My Dunhill Nightcap bought in dollars keeps getting more expensive.

There are three rates: buy, sell, and mid-market.

 

The pound has just now spiked to 72.8

Yesterday I saw the rate in Ayala (basement) at 71.15 to the £.  Today it's dropped slightly to 71. to the £.

WTF I just saw on the board at Ayala the Scotland pound is 69 php it's a pound sterling grrrrrrrrrr lol
