tokyoman 535
I also like the service here; in restaurants and especially in dept stores. Even when buying a small item, I've got two or three pretty sales girls around to assist at any given time/visit. Recently, I bought a small single battery penlight. A salesgirl was like a personal assistent; without my asking or suggesting, she opened the package, inserted a battery and tested the penlight to make sure it worked for me. She then carfully placed item back in the package, closed/sealed, like it was never opened, then escorted me to the cashier. Never did I feel rushed or felt that I was a non-person making an inexpensive purchase. Impressive. Shops in Phil hire too many staff where back in Oz you would be lucky to find someone to give you service like as you described I'd rather shop in the Phil any day ( and a preference for Asian women makes the shopping experience a hell lot more enjoyable)

KennyF 3,855
Ah, I see. OK. Yes, young people do see things differently than us old guys. I though you were suggesting that there's no fun after, say, 25 or 30. As I've said several times before, just when I get my head together, my body starts falling apart. Triple Diamond Sponsor Monsoon 28,941 Posted May 27, 2013 Triple Diamond Sponsor Share Posted May 27, 2013 To refute or deny #5 and/or #8 is like saying that you read Playboy for the articles or that its not that hot in the Philippines. Come on!

Hehehehe I wouldn't live anywhere else at the moment. Although I do miss Thailand, but luckily there are direct flights, so it's no big deal to swing back and party there as well. Life is good. udonthani 2,027
the only thing superior about service in restaurants in the Philippines compared to most places is that the waitress is far more likely to shove her tits under your nose while she's taking the order than just about anywhere else. That can make the punters overlook the shortcomings of everything else.

RogerDat 3,478
Greetings! Well, I am shocked to find a blog that has more unplesant things to say about the PI than I have read here since joining! LOL. To me, the things he listed are minor compaired to the horror of seeing people in the state of hunger, and desease that can be found here. Those are the things that I hate the most, and have found I can do very lile to make better. One thing I have seen is the change in people who have been OFW's and are back home now. They are making changes that were unheard of when I came here in 2004. Once they see, and live in a diffrent culture, it really gets their head cleared of the negative attitude, and they can make real progress.

RogerDat 3,478
you mean they come back and run for office ?? I mean they come back and act like we are suposed to, they do build, open buisneses, and treat others with respect, and try and make things like the way they did for other countries. the mid east is being built by Philippino OFW's. They want to do the same thing in their country.
