curious..how similar is bisayan to kinaray-a

I always hear my mom speaking it...and it sounds a little like bisayan

curious..how similar is bisayan to kinaray-a

I always hear my mom speaking it...and it sounds a little like bisayan

 

close but kinaray-a is closer to the illongo language ( the language of iloilo and bacolod as well as some parts of panay). Some actually consider that as a visayan language since its a language originating from the visayas. bisaya is actually referred as cebuano in some texts.
