This is great stuff!  You truly have a talent for practical designing and the knack for getting it done right.  Keep up the dialogue.  I have seen so many piece-of-shit bangkas that yours is a breath of fresh air!

August 26 update: things are coming together slowly (or maybe I'm just antsy) But progress is being made...The engine and reduction gear had to be split to accomodate the access hatch into the engine room...I will solve that problem later now the priority is get it installed and operational... then do sea trials and work out any kinks that may show up..

She still has a was to go but it is getting closer enjoy the pic's guys

Nice pictures. Just out of curiosity, why does the deck on the bow look so rough?

i'm assuming its some sort of non slip material ?? can you imagine walking out there in rough weather with the deck sloping and wet without any rails ?

She is still a work in progress Headshot, I just keep posting the various stages so you guys can see the work and TLC that is being built into her. There is still allot more to finish her out but it's coming together.

She will have hand rails on both lower decks, I might put one ontop of the pilot house later if the mood strikes me but I won't be allowing folks up there. All the decks will be nonskid...Probably silica sand in wet epoxy paint, or clear coat if I decide to sand and varnish the decks.

Ok the engine and reduction gear are mounted in the engine room by the grace of GOD and the help of a long handled spoon LOL... it's going to require a serious duct system to bring in enough fresh air and pump the heat out, but it will all work out... The shaft Log, shaft and Prop are next... then the rudder and steering system... and of course the engine still has to be hooked up to everything and the system tested but I'm getting excited after two long years of frustration.

The first three pics are the engine and reduction in the hole, the next set is how she is sitting in the water now... I'm pleased so far she is balanced well. Enjoy the Pics Guys...

Thank you for your interest,

C/B
