udonthani 2,027
The Australian Olympic team was observed staggering out of a pub on the Strand in the early hours of Friday, 27th of July 2012 and not a whisker of them has been seen of any of them since. a number of people in Australia and elsewhere are getting worried about them. Although some of them have disappeared before, it's never been as many as this and never all at the same time. on a side note, police have now stopped looking for a world class Australian tennis player or golfer as it is believed it was just a hoax phone call, and that no such thing exists. JamesMusslewhite 14,317
Perhaps they are all merely on a walk-about, looking for their long lost relatives who were not tossed out of the UK years ago for being criminals???

I know you are having a joke but the real story is all the sports coaches who have gone missing from Australia and have been found in different countries coaching their athletes like the Chinese swimmers and the British cyclists. JeffJo 42
Yorkshire moves ahead of Australia and Japan on Olympics medals table The UK Brownlee brothers' double medal win in the triathlon has helped boost their home county of Yorkshire's Olympic credentials. Today Alistair Brownlee's gold medal-winning performance in the triathlon, combined with his younger brother Jonny's bronze in the same race, helped take the UK's largest county to tenth in the medal rankings. Competitors from the county have now won five golds, two silvers and three bronzes. Yorkshire athletes have been hailed as ''brilliant'' after proud Yorkshire folk pointed out their performances meant the county would rank ahead of countries including Japan and Australia in the medal table.
