Yeah, there is a God .. I really didn't want to see Faber/ Cruz lll ,

I expect Barão to rape the shopworn veteran @ the final, Pegado

hasn't lost since '05 & he will also handle Cruz upon his return ....

You're attempting to debate me whether Munoz has limitations in his UFC weight-class - correct ?

... knowing that he is 34yrs, coming from major surgery, & would have to go through fighters like Bisping,

Belfort, Sonnen, & Anderson Silva to become the UFC Middleweight Champion ? ... Step off lol

Bisping-33, vitor- 35, sonnen-35, sivia-35.....all have worse records than mark.....In my opinion he wins them all, although I think sonnen would be his toughest fight.....I have spoken son.

... you missed the point

If Munoz loses to Weidman, realistically .. how many years would it take for

him to achieve #1 contender status, also consider that the UFC is integrating

the Strikeforce middleweight division & Dana wants to sign Lombard from Bellator ?

You might also want to look at the fighters MM has beaten, its a virtual who's who

of nobody, there is nothing there that would suggest he'd be competitive w/ Silva,

Sonnen, Belfort, or Bisping ?

If you wanted to make a case for Mark moving up the ladder expeditiously,

#1 - he submits or tko's Weidman within 2 rds

#2 - Anderson Silva moves to 205 again > challenges Bones

#3 - Sonnen leaves the UFC as he publicly stated, if he loses to Anderson

** btw, I am not anti-Munoz, just skeptical at this stage of his career,

& I am the OP of the Wrecking Machine thread -

Well I bow to your greatness. bisbing loses two of next three.....belfort beats wanderlei, but who the hell is he now. vitor wont get another title shot anytime soon. silvia gets beat by sonnen and if he dosent munuz will beat him. sonnen, munuz is a toss up for me. We can take a look back in a year at this thread. Oh and sivia isnt stupid enough to move up to 205.

Picks :

Main Card (pay-per-view):

265 lbs.: Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio Silva (supporting Bigfoot, but Cain has better/ faster hands)

265 lbs.: Roy Nelson vs. Dave Herman (supporting Pee Wee, but this is a gift for the Burgermeister)

265 lbs.: Shane del Rosario vs.Stipe Miocic (should be FOTN)

265 lbs.: Lavar Johnson vs. Stefan Struve (weird match-up, haven't got a clue)

Preliminary Card (FX Channel):

145 lbs.: Diego Brandao vs. Darren Elkins (Elkins had a freak win over Bang & was armbarred vs Oliveira in his next, prefer Diego here)

155 lbs.: Edson Barboza vs. Jamie Varner (Barboza walks thru the ex-WEC champ)

185 lbs.: Jason Miller vs. C.B. Dollaway (Miller looked like shit vs Bisping, gimme the Doberman)

170 lbs.: Dan Hardy vs. Duane Ludwig ( Good fight, edge to Bang)

Preliminary Card (Facebook):

155 lbs.: Paul Sass vs. Jacob Volkmann (Sass is undefeated submission specialist, but not in Volkmanns league)

205 lbs.: Glover Teixeira vs. Kyle Kingsbury (Teixeira has recent wins over Ricco Suave' & Beastman, won't help him here vs KK)

145 lbs.: Mike Brown vs. Daniel Pineda (Good match-up, veteran Brown coming off ud over Nam Phan)

** For those not savvy, all 7 prelims were available live on Facebook (flawless legal stream)

Jamie Varner came off a 5 year layoff, (03/2007 last fight) to pound out the undefeated Brazilian monster

Edson Barboza, FOTN imo -

Kingsbury was set-up lol, the UFC political machine is amazing ... Teixeira comes over from a joke league

after tko/ko'ing two shopworn relics from planet wheelchair & wrecks KK -

del Rosario & Mayhem appeared to gas early, they can shitcan Miller > he sucks ..

"No Limits" comes from a 15 month layoff & gets his 1st loss, will return stronger (hopefully vs Emelianenko ?)

As I stated earlier, Mir sucks donkey-schwantz & had no business fighting for the belt - Dana White is a conjobba scuzzball,

.... word !

I watched it on Sunday and two things I'll remember about it. I've never seen so much blood come out of someone, live on TV. People from Brazil and Mexico really have no inhibitions about waving their national flags around, wherever they may be.

Brazil can wave the flag in support of their dominant/ legit heavyweight champion, but the legend of Bigfoot (obliterated in back to back losses vs team-mates Cormier & Velasquez) along w/ the previously undefeated lightweight Barboza & their TUF 14 featherweight champion Brandao (14-8) has diminished the stigma greatly (can't wait for Silva/ Sonnen ll / UFC 148) .

And Mexico can wave the flag in support of Velasquez, but imo he has only been tested one time & he got KTFO in one minute . At the post-presser, Dana said he wants Velasquez vs dos Santos ll next, I disagree vehemently, considering the integration of Strikforce hw fighters . Velasquez has not paid his dues & should not be given an immediate rematch, compare their list of opponents > Cain vs Junior

..... ( also, Cain won the belt w/ a 1st round tko over Broke Lesturd ) -

Available Heavyweights :

Carwin ... (set for return mid-2012)

Werdum ... (submitted Fedor)

Barnett ... (placed 2nd in the Gran Prix)

Cormier ... (Gran Prix winner, oh wait > Cains team-mate)

Overeem ... (if he can gauge his testosterone level)

Struve ... (give the kid a shot, he has paid his dues)

Frank Mir ... (ok, maybe thats silly :-)

Kharitonov ... (placed 3rd in the GP & can bang like a mofo)

Fedor ... (he would definately sign w/ UFC to fight Cain)

del Rosario ... (great come back match after his 1st loss)

... I became addicted to mma in the 80's, watched UFC since '93, & joined their website in '07,

free legal ppv's, free prelims on Facebook, & reasonably priced internet service makes Cebu mma friendly -

It seems that MMA is seen as a war out of poverty for those in Brazil if they are any good at it. I've seen video footage of Brazil and it looks a lot like the Philippines in a lot of ways. They have something going there and they will do good. I've heard talk of TUF Brazil also.

TUF International kicked off this year in Brazil & the finals will be @ UFC 147 (June 23) in Belo Horizonte, Brazil .

Wanderlei Silva & Vitor Belfort are the team captains, .. unfortunately Vitor broke his hand & Silva's oppponent is a TBA -

Heavyweights Fabricio Werdum vs Mike Russow are scheduled for that event also ..
