Best Places to get things Done

Recommended Posts

We need more of these kind of posts. Helpful information isn't alway about where to stay away from....The most helpful information is that which tells us where we can get things done. Thanks UZI!

Here is some more:

Shop at Robinsons Talisay - Citi Hardware Tabunok or Car Car or Handyman in Parkmall or S&R all places that have helpful friendly staff & shopping there is a pleasure IMHO.

What are places you visit that are also very easy. Restaurants Grocery Hardware or so forth.

Places that are also good:

Veco Talisay (except when pink bills come out) in out and never issues.

Rustans Banilad is a nice place that I tend to shop at close and easy. Have a nice selection and people are friendly.

The security guards across my gate stop traffic for me when I get out of our gate even if they're not under my employ.

Atlantic Hardware in Tabunok. Good prices and good service. La Nueva in Minglanilla. The best for staples and Filipino products. White Gold Club near SM for just about everything. Their sales are excellent. Gaisano's in Minglanilla. Much cleaner than their Tabunok store. Tabunok Nut and Bolt near Gaisano's Tabunok. Just about every fastener you will ever need plus many other items.

Also Asian Home now in Gaisano Minglanilla ...which so far is the only Gaisano, that isn't a nightmare & the staff smile & assist unlike Tabunok & Car Car branches.

Come on guys, add more. What about places like Daves Restaurant for steaks as in this THREAD

I will add Sbarro in Ayala. Not as good in SM

I like Citi Hardware in Pardo. The staff is not very helpful and really I am not there for the staff. I know what I want plus they seem to have a very nice selection of assorted items. There is never lines to get out.

The Metro Gaisano in Naga. Tried it yesterday for the first time and was impressed. Much better laid out and merchandised that the other Gaisano's I have visited. Even the Jack Daniel's and Johnny Walker are on the open shelves. No more having to go to a separate area and wait to buy it. Very, very clean and even on a Sunday afternoon was not crowded. Prices seem good. Reminds me in many ways of Robinson's.

There is a new Citi Hardware just out side of Car Car (Naga - Car Car) too. I have always found the staff at both places helpful if you don't know where something is. Pretty knowledgeable too as they have section specialists.

I would really have to disagree. I guess if you are looking for non-specialty items or the generic items. To use to the old carpenter in the Home Depot that has tried so many things and really knows what works. Though I do not mind just wondering about the store till I find what I need. It is a pleasant place to go. Plus free tea.
