E Machines Net book

Recommended Posts

maccydee

Hi all,

My Fiance has an E Machines E350 series netbook & as of yesterday the backspace key & a few of the number keys have stopped working. Also the #2 key has come out.

Any ideas as to the cause & eventual repair & parts required i will be paying for the repair as she needs it to keep up our chats till i get back out to Naga this november

Any help will be much appreciated

Many thanks in advance

Paul

New keyboard time. They can be replaced. Or time for an external keyboard.

These are the cheapest items on those netbooks and fail often.

That is the cost to replace the keyboard.

My idea have her go to CDR King and get a external USB keyboard 120 pesos. You are done.

Can't help out repair wise, but when you eventually replace it go for a Toshiba or Samsung.

IMHO E machines are crap.

If you mainly use it for chat and email consider replacing it with an Android tablet.

Half the price and better all around.

They do Yahoo and MSN chat, Youtube, Facebook etc etc.

They also play most video and MP3 files.

A 7" is about$US150 and a 10" $US220 on ebay.

I have had a 7" for a couple of months now and I'm lovin' it.

(No, I didn;t take too many big blue tablets, I'm refering to the screen size)
