Mcdonalds Delivery

Recommended Posts

USMC-Retired

I called to get some Mcdonalds delivered. The guy that called back my number I swear he was from India. He had the sounds and accent like that of an Indian. I did ask where he was located. His response was very Vague. "Mcdonalds is located in Makati" I repeated my question stressing where are you from. Again "McDonalds is Headquartered in Makati".

This leads me to believe that Mcdonalds is out sourcing to India. That really seems odd.

Paul, I suppose it's been a while since you used McDelivery. Only the cold drinks are guaranteed to be warm. The burgers and fries are at room temperature (OK...I suppose here that would still be considered warm).

:D

I have called McDonald's delivery many times here in Manila and each time I called it was a Filipino who was on the other end of the call. Time the only thing I can guess and its a guess is that McDonald corp is outsourcing all areas but Manila. I don't have proof and again its a guess on my part.

Moris, I'm sure you mean the US McDonalds delivery services are handled in the Philippines. I'm pretty sure the McDonalds drive-through's in the US are still staffed by Mexicans. The other possibility for the Indian accent on the phone is that there are a lot of ethnic Indians living here in the Philippines.

Geez. Why is stuff so complicated in today's world?

I think I will just continue to go to the counter, if I want something from McDo.

True. However, Mcdonalds as far back as 2005 considered outsourcing drive thru also, Not sure if the Indian or PH call centre handles drive thru..but many of the calls are routed to hawaii etc now a days...
