Budget Hotel in Cebu

Recommended Posts

LechonCebu1

The best value for me is the Grand Hotel although it's been awhile since we stayed there. It is a bit pricier than the pension houses but they have a buffet breakfast, a small rooftop pool and it's quiet. It's also close to almost everything. I don't like the Italian restaurant across from it though. Overpriced and the pasta is bland. I can cook better pasta than that.

Has anyone tried Sugbutel?

Their web site is kind of amusing ::drink:

BED FEATURES:

- Overhead light

- Small safety box under the pillow for your private belongings

I wonder what its like sleeping on a pillow with a box under it ??

Cebu Century downtown at 700 pesos a night.

If you book in advance on their website, you can get a room at Metro Park for 900. They require a deposit at check-in, but it's returned at check-out.

You should have continued reading down, Ian. The bed also includes a 220v power socket and the rooms have CCTV cameras - so your exploits can be captured for eternity - and there is a non-smoking area in the rooms, too (presumably the bed). :)

Sugbutel is kind of a dorm, I think? Beds from 99 peso.

I like Palazzo Pensionne, from 1050 peso incl a small breakfast. Nice, clean, aircon, TV, free wi-fi, hot/cold water in CR, and staff is very welcome.

Going to Cebu this Friday, but think we will check out Holiday Spa Hotel this time.
