Expat 3
I want to register a company in the Philippines. My services would consist of introducing potential property renters or buyers to the property owners. I will own 40% of the company shares and the rest will be owned by my Filipino partners. Does someone know if I really need a real estate license or if I can somehow register it as an other service because I simply introduce the buyers or renters to the property owners and thats it. If you are not sure then please dont comment. If you know more about this then please give me some advice, thanks.
D_D 572
I simply introduce the buyers or renters to the property owners and thats it. That is a lot more than "thats it". You would be called a broker. I suggest you read up on RA 9646: Real Estate Service Act of 2009 The good news is now Foreigners can be Real Estate brokers. Your corp may have to get you a working visa. Edited September 18, 2010 by Diver Douglas
