Immodium AD is good for diareha. Plenty of fluids and rest. Asprin or Tylenol for fever.

Vivian;

Have Paul get plenty of rest

2. Take a warm shower

3. Chicken soup

4. Put an extra pillow for him to sleep on. This will help his nose to drain as he sleeps.

Hey girl! It's VERY hard to tell from that limited description. Paracetomol, Loperamide and Gatorade for now. BUT, if it persists I would match the symptoms to the information on this site! http://www.travelclinicoregon.com/DiarrheaTreatment.htm

Nothing personal dude but she never said he had the flu or cold symptoms. More like diarrhea or dysentery. Cheers!

He knows to stay hydrated. As long as he can keep liquids down keep giving him gatorade.

Amoxicillin is not correct for diarrhea, it actually causes diarrhea in many cases. Ciprofloxacin in the recommended doses on the website I posted above will be beneficial in many cases!

Plenty of coconut juice! It cures all!

:biggrin_01:

I just got over a couple days worth of something myself. No diarrhea, but I had high fever, chills, a dull feeling in my head, loss of appetite, and all of my joints ached severely.

Get well soon.

Biogesic is basically the same as Tylenol, don't overdose him by giving two types of the same medication! Hang in there day, I know you are worried.

I agree Coconut Water is better, more healthy, naturally gives the salts and potassium, calcium etc (cheaper?) than Gatorade!

(Do some have 'shares' in Gatorade manufacturer or something to keep 'plugging' it so much?)

my wife echoes all of the above plus;- she suggests boil guava, mango and custard apple leaves and drink the water. of equal benefit is to boil charcoal and drink the water. also, you can mix cornstarch with coke to a thicker than water consistency and it should bind you. live long and prosper!
