I recently booked a ticket CEB-MNL with Airasia for a family member who doesn't have email or know how to use the Internet, so I used my email address. With the confirmation I got the following information (excerpts):

Entry Guidelines
The Malaysian Government has made it MANDATORY for all incoming passengers including Malaysians to download and activate the MySejahtera mobile app before departing to Malaysia.

Anda boleh membuat pre-book hidangan panas selewat-lewatnya 24 jam sebelum waktu berlepas dan snek tersedia untuk pembelian di dalam pesawat.

So Airasia have managed three mistakes at least:

1. This person is not going to Malaysia.

2. The MySejahtera app has not been mandatory since the middle of last year (I know because I'm going to Malaysia later but haven't booked the flight yet)

3. Part of the information is in the Malay language.
