Popular Post Nangulo 1,131
A former moderator here. A neighbor of mine for several years in Surigao City. A Marine. He had a working farm in Cagdianao, Dinagat Islands, where Typhoon Odette made landfall. He traveled to the U.S. last week. He had a stroke, fell and hit his head. He died this week in a hospital in Austin, TX, with his wife and son by his side. 3
Headshot 29,934
OMG. James was a good friend. He will be missed, and not only by his family. Odette really wiped them out here in the Philippines, so they were going back to Texas to make a new start. Although that didn't work out for him, at least his wife and son are in the same place as his parents now, so will have a support system until they find their feet. RIP James. You were too young to die. 2

Yeah, they had a garden store and nursery in the Houston area for years until it was destroyed by two hurricanes. Seems like cyclonic storms had it in for James.

Chris24 1,774
Be at peace brother. Best wishes to family. James was one that I'm very sure I would have enjoyed meeting in person. He was living life well and always working on all sort of interesting things.
