Now that is a big WOW.     From the article you posted  it seems Fang Fang did get around.     Not a peep or condolences from here ex Bf Swallwell?

I haven't seen any.  Maybe they parted their relationship on poor terms.

We're not getting much solid info about this but I hope they can get the black boxes to clue us on what happened.

  Seems  the Sr  59 yo Pilot  had been demoted to  first officer.    hmmm hmmm  and the captain was 32 yrs old.     Hmm Hmmm  a once highly decorated captain ...now sitting right seat. hmmmm .      

 

Oh and it seems China Eastern doesnt really need to find a black box.. all the comms are uploaded to the cloud in real time.    the CAAC is sitting on the recordings.
