Location:  Tarlac, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Metro Manila

Event:  As a result of destructive winds, torrential rainfall, and flooding caused by Typhoon Ulysses, the U.S. Embassy in Manila will close at 12 noon today, November 12, 2020.  The Embassy’s phone lines also may be affected by intermittent outages during the storm.  Please contact us by email at [email protected] with any urgent inquiries if you cannot reach us by phone.  All appointments with the American Citizen Services unit of the Embassy have been canceled for November 12.

• Monitor the website of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) at http://www.pagasa.dost.gov.ph for updated information.
• Follow the directions of local authorities.
• Seek secure shelter, stay inside, and keep all windows and doors securely closed.
