It is the fourth facility in Cebu accredited to conduct COVID-19 tests. According to the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the laboratory is expected to process 1,500 to 3,000 tests daily with results available after 24 hours. The laboratory also holds a BSL-2 certification from the Department of Health and the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, the DOTr said. https://www.msn.com/en-ph/news/national/mcia-begins-philippines-first-ever-airport-devoted-covid-19-pcr-tests/ar-BB16DcYh?ocid=msedgdhp 3
+to_dave007 6,024
good idea. Thumb's up to whoever is responsible for that. Certainly a sign they want the airport open. Edited July 13, 2020 by to_dave007
fivestarph 549
Would be far better that the tests are done on departure from wherever than on arrival. Hong Kong has stipulated that incoming passengers have to be in possession of a negative certificate before they can board flights to Hong Kong. You are lucky it's only OFWs who have to be tested before boarding. http://www.sunwebhk.com/2020/07/fdhs-must-test-negative-before-flying.html

Thanks for the reference link.
