He was actually like one of first expat "vloggers" in the Philippines.  I think the first video I saw was him and Paul Petrea reviewing a hotel in Dumaguete (I think).

RIP Jim and condolences to his family.  You were one of the early great pioneers willing to share your experiences and I wish we had had an opportunity to meet.   You enriched my life nonetheless and your passing is a loss to many.

RIP. Jim's videos gave me a real heads up before I moved to Cebu. I met him twice in person and was impressed by his knowledge of the Visayas.
