Some Ls and Ws are interchanged depending on which part of the island(s) you're in.

Cebuano speakers will sometimes interchange "l" and "w" in some words..  I understand both ulan and uwan are correct.  So says my tutor anyways.

According to my Asawa Uwan is Bisaya and Ulan tagalog. At least in Biliran and Leyte.
