Hooray for me!  I survived my fourteen day Voluntary Home Quarantine and am now free to leave my home to venture the countryside and to probably really catch COVID-19 for sure.  Something scary.  The county nurse who was monitoring me twice a day (via text) informed me that from now on anyone who was in contact with an active victim would not be monitored unless they themselves became active.  To me, that sounds kind of irresponsible on the part of the health community.  Think of all the people they could infect before "they" became ill.  Not feeling too comfortable at how this is being addressed in my state.

I think it's a matter of resources..  as the number of cases go up and up..  they just don't have the resources to do it.

Oh.. and don't you be rushing out to catch it..  It's not your turn yet.  Be a good boy and take your place at the back of the queue.

Worldometer has contacted Piedmont officials directly and received confirmation that the number of deaths in the region is 499, 50 more than what mistakenly reported in the Protezione Civile's bulletin today. This discrepancy was clearly due to a typing error by Protezione Civile, not to Piedmont's number of new deaths (16 today) missing in the national report, as incorrectly stated by some media. After solving this discrepancy, we changed the official total number of deaths in Italy from 8,165 to 8,215 and, accordingly, the total number of cases from 80,539 to 80,589 [source]

Any guys OVER 65 been out and about at all?  what experience on roads?  Police? Checkpoints? and so on.

Like  @ellenbrook2001above..  I need to make a trip to JMall BI..  as well as couple friends of mine.  But to do so I would need to come in from Tuburan.. some 2-1/2 hours away.. and if possible I like to know what issues I will encounter on the road.  I'm not to happy to defy the curfew, as I take issue with others doing it.  But I'm also not happy to overstay my visa, so I need to decide one way or the other.  A BIG !! part of me says "get the BI trip done NOW while the infected numbers are still LOW rather than wait until the zombie apocalypse is upon us..  But I'd still like to hear some stories from guys.. over 65.. who may have been out and about for one reason or another.

Questions for @ellenbrook2001 :

  •  Guessing you travelled from Mambaling to JMall. Right?  Did you drive or taxi or what?  Any issues?
  •  At JMall BI did you need mask to enter?  anything else out of ordinary?

did order CRAB  TAXI  was fine but do not know today no clue

Actually they do politics...

THe passes handed out already are useless, as the Mayor said they lack his signature and will not be recognised by PNP/Military.
Now the governor steps in, but lets see how that kindergarden play out... LOL

We'll probably drive to Ramos market to shop and I'll stay in vesicle (tinted windows)- I do anyway

From grocery store will operate off list

That is easy - just had a call with a friend in Cebu. They will ask for a name, insist no name on it, so everybody in your household can use it, one at the time.  She did it this way.

Great suggestion - thanks - told my neighbor same - again thanks

Makes sense - I need to go to DR, bank, etc, or she needs to go to DR, shopping

The fact that each of us will have an unnamed pass never crossed my mind.
