Our tenant renting our house in Cebu just called us saying he looked on the immigration web site and there was a notice saying all visa's have been cancelled and all foreign nationals must return to there home country by next week. That does not sound right, he is from Canada and is stressing out about it ... Is that right??

I'm from Canada..  and another friend of mine close to me as well..  and even IF it was possible to get back there now (which I doubt) we have no intention to return until this is over.  Better off to stay put here. IMHO the Canadian authorities AND the Philippine authorities would agree.. They all, want to STOP people moving around.

So no problem staying, no fine for over staying and no need to apply for an extension visa until this is over, then it must be applied for in 30 days.
