Two small wins

The street lights here are the responsibility of the barangays.  They used to be fluorescent with a switch about 6ft above ground level.  Certain households were tasked with turning them on and off but anyone could do it if they noticed they weren't right.  But now they've moved up to small LED bulbs and photo-electric sensors.  The lights are wired direct from the lines with no meters so I assume that is part of the line loss in the VECO bill.

When we moved here the street lights were off because the Captain lost his re-election and refused to turn them on for the rest of his term as punishment to the voters.
