Two of the point defenses being looked at are lasers and "grape shot" shells (25 mm) using Tungsten sand

Paddy

I enjoyed the video. a) because we now have our 4G connection back and b) while it was a good ad for the Abrams (sp?) it covered the subject reasonably completely - except it often stated that firepower and protection were the factors as if mobility wasn’t really equally important.
As a signals officer my practical tank experience is limited to a day (or so) “commanding” a troop of Chieftain tanks on Salisbury Plain as part of the Junior Command and Staff Course. I admit...I was essentially clueless about what was going on!😀

I wish I could find the anti-RPG grape shot shell video.

Basically 4 laser guided, rapid fire (100 RPM)  guns, using 25 MM proximity shotgun shells filled with Tungsten sand

Closest  I could find was 40 MM - talk about "no swimming allowed"
