LBC wont take package for USA ?

Recommended Posts

In Baybay City leyte here and LBC office has told me they don't send packages to the USA...

Seems they do on their website but local management have their own ideas

Is there an easy way around this - we don't exactly have a lot of choice here!

We send parcels to the US using LBC on a regular basis. Cost is a fraction of using Fedex, and it always arrives in 5-7 days.

If there is no LBC in the area, it is delivered by UPS.

I don't know if they take packages though, we only send parcels.

Package (to me) is the same as a parcel

Just to clarify - they will only take documents

A parcel is literally a package sent somewhere.

Have you tried PhilPost?

A couple of years ago my partner sent me some shirts while I was on assignment in Tennessee. Delivered in ten days.

She experienced a similar problem with the couriers and thought to try PhilPost.

I know they’re lousy with inbound deliveries but outbound does seem to work (or did that time! 😄)

I shipped a pretty heavy package via DHL. Wasn't cheap though.

Have you tried Maasin? A different office may do it.

Hopefully will to tomorrow - having to go to another office becoz they've run out boxes at the local po

Cost is about 2500php - same as LBC quote on their website

Asked them for a quote - wanted 4,000 php - compared to LBC 2500-2750 and PhilPost (think) 2,500 php
