Filipino Mapping

btw This is not bashing, just curious about the difference.

Ever had a map (sketch) drawn by a local?  Whenever I draw a map someplace or had one given to me before I came here, a line was a road.  If there was an intersection, then a short line across the main road (line).  Here they draw 2 parallel lines for a road and if there's an intersection, they draw the four corners.  It often causes them to run out of room on the paper.  Different, but it seems to be consistent here.  Is this the mapping technique taught in schools or something?

I remember it confused me the first couple times they did it.

This is the hiway?

Yes.

So what is this road?  Hahahahaha

what you need map for..  just turn left at the house by the tree and go down the road until you get to the bamboo.

so.. the wife and I woke up in the city Friday morning and headed out in our separate ways..  each with a list of chores to get done.. and hoping to meet up later in day for the drive back to Tuburan.

so.. she finishes..  and sent me SMS to say "I'm done honey..  waiting for you at McDonalds".

I mentally counted how many different McD she could be at.. minimum of 5..  and resisted saying something sarcastic.. and just responded ok..  "I'll see at the McD"..  to which she responds..  "which one?"

for sure female brains are wired different.  We aren't meant to understand.

Easy enough to understand once you know what color F# smells like.
