It's hard to know what to say when a friend passes. My last communication with Lee was like that. I didn't want to use the typical platitudes, so I just talked to him. Lee knew this was coming sooner

I remember that guy who died in the city in 2014, I believe, and his body was in funeral home over by J Mall-no friends-relatives-nobody to make arrangements for body, and Lee/Nila made don't know how

RIP Lee! He never wanted his photo shown anywhere, but I will make this exception.

So sad. Always a friendly fellow when chatting. Remember the good times which were many.

I liked Lee . I met him personally more than once. But to say that his chats were always friendly is doing the man a great disservice lol . Lee had very strong opinions about things and did not accept any criticism of his views kindly .  He at least once threatened me with personal harm on this forum.  But after that he apologized and had me to his place for supper.  And we had a very pleasant evening together .   I think either his diseases [ which were very bad ] or the medications he took for them caused him personality changes on occasion.

RIP Lee

Stage 4 pancreatic cancer is not a good way to go. Thank God he was in the US where they have fairly effective pain killers.

Tough cards to be dealt..This is not the country you would not want to spend your closing days with that disease..Had a boyhood friend lose the battle to that..

Yes, that was also what Paul had. Lee lasted six months after diagnoses, and Paul only lasted a few weeks.

Its apparently called the silent killer.

My SIL in Australia (Filipina) died within three weeks of diagnosis.

Even with excellent health care the doctors were unsure at first what the problem was. I know this seems strange but its true.

A long time friend of mine was diagnosed with PC, He withered away to nothing and finally ate a bullet because the pain became so bad
