Much ado about nothing. I think this tiny fender bender is the most exciting thing that happened to this Duffus in the last year!

Get over yourself buddy!!

OH MY GOD 10,000 pesos is like $190 dollars!!!   shit i spend more than that on tips in a good week.   let's hope the fella doesn't have post traumatic stress reactions to this harrowing event!   to top it off someone lied after a fender bender?  now there's something that would never happen in any other place in the world.

although i couldn't bear to get past the 30 second mark of the video i do thank him for showing us what to watch out for and try to avoid in this country like cruising around red light districts.   i'll keep this in mind next time i find myself in angeles city which will be like never.   :biggrin_01:

Some serious good information and I had no idea these CCTV's were so reliable.  I have seen kids driving the parents' vehicle and so shouldn't these people have paid something for damages they were at fault.

My car has bit the dust and I couldn't be happier my stress level has gone down so much we now take the trike, jeep and bus the wife does complain at times but oh well.  This guy seems incredibly stressed so I'm wondering what's next heart attack is it worth it.

I was hit 4 times in Dumaguete, but never in Cebu City.

By a tric, a motorcycle, jeepney and an SUV.

The only time I had to repair anything was to replace a side mirror the tric broke off.

In 3 of the 4 times, the other vehicle kept going or took aff ASAP.

The only one who demanded money was a motorcycle, even though it was his fault.  I didn't see any damage to his motorcycle. It occurred nearly in front of the police station. A policeman saw what happened and walked over and said something to the other guy and told me I could leave..

I have learned perhaps one thing at least in my short 9 years here, and that is "if you think you have the right away" that is your first mistake. Defensive driving and always anticipating the other person will do something wrong/stupid is the only way to drive, At least in Dumaguete. Knock on wood I have never had a scratch in those 9 years.

Haha, the video showed pretty calm driving. If he comes to Leyte and drives like that, Like there is a right-of-way... i’d bet he would have 500 accidents.

good info on the police suggestions.
